If you happened to be downtown early on Wednesday, July 25, you might have seen us. At 7:30 a.m., the Occupy cehkc march left Victor Steinbrueck Park, where about 150 of us had spent the night. We took up the whole street as we flowed through the Market, up Pine and down Fifth to City Hall where the Committee to End Homelessness in King County (CEHKC) held its quarterly meeting of the Governing Board.
We blew horns and banged pans and screamed ourselves hoarse.
“Hey, youse guys! How’s about a house?!”
“It’s cold! It’s wet! Show us where to pitch our tent!” ...
