Nickelsville split into three sites in 2013 after the city of Seattle evicted the encampment from West Marginal Way near West Seattle. One of the encampments moved to 2020 S. Jackson St., next to Ernestine Anderson Place, a building owned by the Low Income Housing Institute.

Nickelsville is on the move again, this time to a sloping green belt on South Dearborn Street near where Interstate 5 and Interstate 90 intersect. After a year divided among two or three sites around Seattleā€™s Central District and Skyway, Nickelodeons are eager to be together again.
