The Tenants Union of Washington is expanding its services. Beginning June 1, the advocacy group will offer new weekly drop-in clinics. Counselors will be on hand to answer questions about landlord-tenant laws, disputes and evictions at the following times and locations:

(interpretation available)
Lake City
Thursdays, 5-7 p.m.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
1:30-4 p.m.
Tenants Union Office
5425 Rainier Ave S., #B
The clinics are free and open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. The organization is also increasing its tenant hotline hours. Renters can now call the hotline at 206.723.0500 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.
The new services mark the Tenants Union's first expansion since 2009, when King County cut the agency's budget in half, nearly forcing it to close. ("Mid-July fundraising deadline looms for nonprofit," RC, June 24, 2009).
