Tues., June 2, 11:18 p.m., Madison St. Officer was dispatched to a report of a domestic violence assault on Eighth and Madison.
He arrived to find complainant, a transient male aged 43, who stated his brother had assaulted him outside of the M Market. He had walked up and demanded money, and then had punched victim in the face with a closed fist. Officer noted a red mark on the victim's face and asked if he needed help -- victim declined medical attention. Victim stated he had been sleeping at Seventh and Spring St. when the suspect came up to him. He pushed the subject down and cut his head. An area check was negative.
Fri., June 5, 6:21 a.m., Boylston Ave. E
Officer arrived to a report of a subject at a mental health out treatment center threatening to kill everyone. Officer arrived to find the subject, a transient white male aged 47, sitting on the steps of the facility. He appeared confused and was talking to himself, stating, "He Died." Officer asked who died, and he said it was his friend. He also stated he had not threatened anyone on the streets, or talked to anyone. He reported he was not on any type of medication. Complainant stated she was in her office and heard someone yelling. She looked out and saw the subject yelling, "I'm going to kill everyone!" Complainant said the threats appeared to be generalized, and were not directed at anyone in general. She also reported subject was a patient of the facility, and had been prescribed medications, but she believed he was not currently taking them. An ambulance was contacted, and subject was taken to Harborview for a voluntary evaluation.
Sat., June 6, 6:33 p.m., Westlake Park.
Officers contacted the subjects, a transient while male aged 34 and transient white female aged 20, at Westlake Park. They were both visibly upset and stated that they wanted to go to Harborview Medical Center for mental health evaluations. Officers verified their ID, and arranged for an ambulance to take them to Harborview. No further details provided.
Wed., June 10, 4:23 p.m., Roy St.
Subject, a transient white male aged 52, was observed by a citizen lying on the sidewalk not moving. He called 911 and officers arrived and attempted to wake the subject with no luck. Officers called Seattle Fire Department (SFD), and after a few minutes he moved and mumbled something. His left eye was infected and closed, and he seemed to be unable to sit up or speak. SFD arrived, but subject refused medical aid. Officers found he was unable to care for himself, and he was transported to Harborview Medical Center for a mental health evaluation.
Wed., June 10, 4:39 p.m., 23rd Ave.
An officer contacted the suspect, a transient black female aged 36, for sleeping on the stairway to Midway Center. He observed her sleeping there for at least 15 minutes, and states there are numerous "No Trespassing, No Loitering, and No Soliciting" signs posted at the area. He woke the suspect and asked her what she was doing. She said she had not slept for three days because she had been smoking crack. She provided her name and date of birth, and a records check revealed an outstanding warrant. She was arrested and booked into King County Jail.
Wed., June 10, 4:42 p.m., S. Washington St, Occidental Park.
Officer on patrol spotted the suspect, a transient black male aged 44, seated in the center of Occidental Park. He checked the suspect for Parks Exclusions via radio, and verified suspect was excluded from all Zone 4 parks for one year. When suspect exited the park he was arrested, and was later booked into King County Jail for trespassing.
