Wed., June 11, 8:51 a.m., MLK Jr. Way S. Subject, a transient white male aged 51, called 911 from MLK Jr. Way and stated that he wanted to kill himself, and had cut himself with a razor blade. Seattle Fire department (SFD) responded with Seattle Police and found subject conscious and alert upon their arrival. He appeared intoxicated, and had the odor of intoxicants on his breath. He had lacerations on his abdomen, and stated he had inflicted them himself because he did not want to live. He stated that he had been drinking, and had attempted suicide in the past. He was transported by ambulance to Harborview Medical Center.
Fri., June 13, 7:46 p.m., Occidental Park, S. Washington St. An officer was dispatched to a fight disturbance in the above area. When he arrived at the scene it was all quiet. Witnesses informed them that it was a mutual fight, and all parties had separated. Officer continued to drive around the area and located the victim, a transient Black male aged 35. He was walking with another witness, and was yelling "That motherfucker stabbed me over five bucks" as he walked down the street. Officer turned his car around, and the witness yelled that the victim had been stabbed in a fight. Victim would only state that he had been stabbed over five dollars, and he did not know who did it. Witness stated that he was in Occidental Park with the victim when the victim got into a fight with a Black male. The suspect had a small folding pocket knife and stabbed victim in the side several times. He then folded the knife and put it in his pocket, and walked toward the waterfront. Victim sustained four stab wounds to his left side, and was transported to Harborview for treatment.
Sat., June 14, 3:46 p.m., Fourth and Pine St. Bicycle officers observed suspect, a transient Black female aged 22, engaged in a disturbance in the area of Westlake Mall. Her name was verified, and she was found to have an outstanding warrant. She was arrested and booked into King County Jail.
Sat., June 14, 4:29 p.m., Victor Steinbrueck Park, Western Ave. Officers contacted suspect during a routine patrol in Victor Steinbrueck Park when they observed the suspect, a transient Native American female, aged 23, inside the park. She was recognized from previous encounters, and when officers contacted her they found she had an outstanding warrant. This was verified via radio, and suspect was arrested and booked into King County Jail.
