Sun., June 29, 2:17 p.m., Third Ave., Morrison Hotel. Officer was dispatched to a call of a woman who had been lying in the street who was now lying on the sidewalk. The caller stated subject was trying to grab pedestrians' feet. Officers responded to find subject, a transient white female aged 43, lying in a doorway alcove. Subject spoke to officers off and on, but at times she was incoherent and other times her sentences made no sense. Officers called for an ambulance, and when the ambulance arrived and attempted to put her on the gurney the suspect began to flail about. Officer assisted ambulance staff in restraining subject, and she was transported to Harborview Medical Center for an involuntary mental health evaluation.
Tues., July 1, 3:15 p.m., Pike St. Officers contacted the suspect, a transient white male aged 36, for urinating in the 350 block of Pike St. alley. Officers had previous knowledge that suspect was a Department of Corrections (DOC) offender, and contacted his DOC officer. He advised police that suspect was in violation of his DOC supervision, and that he should be taken into custody. Suspect was arrested and booked into King County Jail.
Tues., July 1, 3:15 p.m., 300 block S. Jackson St. Officers were dispatched to a report of a trespasser in the Amtrak train tunnels at the King St. station. Officers arrived and recognized the suspect, a transient white male aged 41, as a person they had previously trespassed from the same area. Suspect was arrested and booked into King County Jail.
Tues., July 1, 5:39 p.m., 10th Ave./S. King St. Suspect, a transient Black male aged 44, was contacted for littering. A routine name check showed an outstanding warrant, and suspect was arrested and booked into King County Jail.
Wed., July 2, 3:17 a.m., Western Ave. An officer on emphasis patrol downtown conducted a walk-through of Victor Steinbrueck Park. He contacted the suspect, a transient Black male aged 40, sleeping in the park. The park is closed until 6 a.m. A routine name check revealed an outstanding warrant, and suspect was arrested and booked into King County Jail.
Wed., July 2, 6:53 a.m., 2100 block First Ave. Seattle Police officers were working with DOC officers when they observed suspect, a transient white male aged 38, walking southbound on the west sidewalk of First and Bell St. Officers recognized suspect from previous contacts and were aware he was on active supervision with the DOC. His DOC officer reported that suspect was supposed to have reported to the FareStart program the day before. Officers contacted suspect, who stated that he had shown up to his program, but when his DOC officer said she would check he admitted he had not gone. He was arrested for violation of his DOC supervision and was turned over to the NCI/DOC work crew for assignment.
Wed., July 2, 10:10 p.m., S. Washington St. Suspect, a transient Black female aged 37, was observed smoking marijuana with two other individuals by a bus stop on S. Washington St. A strong odor of marijuana was coming from their direction. Suspect was arrested and booked into King County Jail.
