Tues., Nov. 4, 12:11 a.m., Spring St. Officer contacted two males walking in the 1200 block of Spring St. One of the men had an open container of beer, and both were instructed to come over to the patrol car and place their hands on the hood. Both males were very highly intoxicated. Suspects gave their names and dates of birth, and officer ran them through the radio. The first suspect, a transient white male aged 40, came back on active Department of Corrections (DOC) supervision, and the officer contacted the man's parole officer. He informed the parole officer that suspect had been drinking and was intoxicated. Suspect stated upon questioning that he had checked in with his DOC parole officer on Tuesday, but the parole officer had no record that he had checked in. Suspect was arrested and booked into King County Jail.
Wed., Nov. 5, 12:22 p.m., Seventh Ave./Blanchard St. Suspect, a white male aged 51, was contacted for having an open container of beer inside a bus stop on Seventh and Blanchard. Officer ran his name through the computer and found an outstanding warrant. He was placed into custody and released to Federal Way Police Dept.
Thurs., Nov. 6, 7:45 p.m., Fourth Ave. and S. Royal Brougham Way. Officers were dispatched to check on the welfare of a female located at Fourth Ave. and S. Royal Brougham Way. A witness called 911 to report a female was yelling, screaming, and flailing and appeared to have soiled herself. Subject, a transient white female aged 47, was contacted just south of the intersection sitting underneath an overpass on the east side of the street. She had a laceration down the right side of her face, and stated she got it "from not smoking crack," but refused to give further details. There was a heavy odor of intoxicants coming from her, and her speech was very slurred. Officers noted that subject's clothing was falling apart, and she was exposed and blue with cold. She did not have a jacket or any way to keep warm. Officers called Seattle Fire to evaluate subject, and they found her unable to stand up by herself, and she stumbled and had to be caught before she fell. She was shaking, her face was blue, and she had goose-bumps all over, but she stated she did not feel cold. An ambulance was called, and subject was transported to Harborview for an involuntary admission as she appeared to be unable to care for herself.
Fri., Nov. 7, 1:36 p.m., Broadway Ave. E./E.Republican St. Witness reports he was in the 400 block of Broadway and observed the suspect, a transient white male aged 34, standing on the sidewalk arguing with an unknown subject. Witness observed the suspect spray victim in the face before running away southbound. According to victim, he and the suspect had spoken, and subject asked him if he wanted to drink some alcohol. Victim declined, stating he had quit drinking. Suspect became agitated and starting arguing and being confrontational. He then sprayed victim in the face with pepper spray and fled the scene. Seattle Fire arrived to treat the victim. An area check for the suspect was negative.
