Thurs., Jan. 15, 5 a.m., Pine St., Paramount theater. A group of seven sleepers was contacted for trespass- ing at the Paramount Theater on Pine St. Officers contacted a suspect, a transient white male aged 35, who was found to have an outstanding warrant with the Department of Corrections in Pierce County. The warrant was verified and suspect was taken into custody. Pierce County police were contacted, but no one was available to collect the suspect for the warrant. Suspect was trespassed from the Paramount, signed the trespass admonishment card, and was released from the precinct.
Thurs., Jan. 15, 8 a.m., Second ave. ext. S. Union Gospel Mission. Victim, a white male aged 26, reported that he had left some personal belongings inside the Union Gospel Mission, and someone had taken them. The missing items included the victim's suitcase, clothing, and personal paperwork. Total loss is unknown.
Sat., Jan. 17, 8:51 p.m., Second ave. ext S. Union Gospel Mission. Officer was dispatched to investigate a report of an assault. When he arrived at the loca- tion he noticed that complainant/victim had food stains on his shirt and food on his hands. Complainant stated that they were an employee of the Union Gospel Mission and noticed that the suspect, a transient Black female aged 40, was sleeping in the dining area, which is a violation of the shelter rules. Complain- ant states he attempted to wake her by gently shaking her. She awoke agitated, argued with the complainant, and then threw hot sauce and food on him. She then took a donut and attempted to leave the shelter, which is a violation of shelter rules. She hit the complainant in the stomach with a fist, and attempted to board a Metro bus. She was contacted by officers, and admitted throwing food on the complainant. She was arrested and booked into King County Jail for assault.
