Black clad and helmeted
Agents of intimidation
Astride your city-issued bikes
I imagine you think of yourselves
As big city John Waynes
In the saddles of
Modern-day horses
Smug and snide
You ride
Patrolling the streets
Claiming to be servants of society
Yet
Acting as an occupying force
I dread your approach
Because I know
At least
In your views
I’ve committed the crime of
Homelessness
And your harassment
Is relentless
